บทคัดย่อ :
At present, the dramatic growth of cognitive impairment, especially dementia among the aging population is of a high concern. Interventions to increase psychological well-being of informal caregivers, like family members, are also important. The aim of this article was to systematically review related literature about the effects of dyadic care management interventions between primary caregivers and dyads with dementia in the home. Databases consisting of CINAHL, OVID Full Text, ProQuest Nursing, PSYCH info, ERIC, MEDLINE, and PubMed were searched by the PICO
technique using keywords of „well-being outcomes‟, „caregiver‟, „care recipient‟, „dementia‟, „dyadic‟, for interventions published in English with full text available from 2012 until present. Fourteen studies were identified. Findings suggested that dyadic care management for dementia caregiving dyads were feasible and well accepted. Those interventions included various approaches such as psychosocial trainings, cognitive intervention, and multicomponent. The results provided rich evidence of the significance of mutual understanding between caregivers and care recipients. The dyadic care management interventions strongly provided a good efficacy to improve caregivers‟ well-being in regards to depression, stress, anxiety, and burden.
